Salary: Up to £35,000 / £40,000 - depending on experience 


I am now working with a well-established global events and exhibitions agency who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their business.

This is independently owned business who are experienced in production unique events and exhibition events across the world!


The Senior PM is responsible for delivering successful exhibition and event projects ensuring the final executing meets the initial agreed brief, time and budget. You must have a proven track record in delivering exhibition and event projects all over the world involving regular overseas travel and working additional hours when required.


Day to day responsibilities:

  • Manage pre-production of assigned exhibition and event projects
  • Be the primary client contact for each assigned project
  • Maintain regular contact with assigned clients and selected suppliers including emails, calls, conference calls, meetings and site visits as needed
  • Create the project timeline gathering inputs and feedback from the wider project management team and from the client direct
  • Source, recommend and manage appropriate suppliers to fulfil the project deliverables
  • Create specifications and tender documents, gather a minimum of 3 supplier quotes and analyse submissions to ensure competitive and accurate pricing
  • Prepare project quotations in accordance with the quotation template
  • Manage project costs against approved amounts and track all client changes
  • Coordinate project invoicing with Finance once project quotations are approved/signed
  • Manage onsite production of assigned exhibition and event projects
  • Manage project installation and dismantle in line with the quotation
  • Track any client changes and gain approval for additional costs incurred
  • Be available for onsite support during the open period as required
  • Manage post-event production of assigned exhibition and event projects
  • Reconcile all supplier invoices against purchase orders and explain any variation
  • Reconcile all pre-event costs and onsite extras against the project quotation
  • Produce onsite reports within 1 week of the event close and distribute internally
  • Manage the monthly P&L and ensure all costs are fully accountable and recoverable

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of marketing principles is an advantage
