Field Service Engineer – Food Pro
Location: East Midlands, field-based
Contract: Full-time, permanent
 
I’m recruiting for a friendly, proactive Field Service Engineer to support food-processing equipment across the East Midlands. You’ll help keep customers’ operations running smoothly by diagnosing faults, carrying out maintenance and installations, and providing clear, reliable support.
Working from home and travelling to customer sites, you’ll service weighing, labelling and food-processing equipment. You’ll also complete job reports, advise customers on equipment care and work with colleagues to resolve more complex issues.
 
What we’re looking for

- Field service engineering experience, ideally supporting retail or food-industry equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Confidence working independently and managing your own diary
- A customer-focused approach and clear communication
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the East Midlands
- Basic IT skills for reporting, fault logging and remote diagnostics

Experience with PLCs, HMIs, weighing-system calibration tools or supermarket site procedures would be beneficial. A relevant electrical, mechanical or electronic qualification is welcome, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
 
This is a full-time, permanent, home-based role, with regular travel to customer sites across the East Midlands.
