Labels Print Finisher / Coater Rewinder
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £32,000 Excellent Company Benefits
Hours: Monday – Friday on Weekly Rotating Shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
 
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, internationally recognised business operating within the labels and packaging sector.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Labels Print Finisher to join their production team in Milton Keynes.
This position would suit an experienced machine operator from a print, labels or packaging who enjoys a hands-on role within a busy production environment.
 
The Role
Working on a rotating double-day shift pattern, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining coating and rewinding machinery, ensuring products are finished to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

- Setting up and operating coating and rewinding machinery
- Monitoring production runs and adjusting machine settings where required
- Inspecting finished rolls, checking dimensions, and identifying defects
- Carrying out basic maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting
- Recording production information and completing quality checks
- Loading and unloading materials as required
- Working closely with the production team to meet output targets
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment

 
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience within the flexible packaging or labels industry, who have worked on slitting, rewinding / coating machinery.
You will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a slitter/rewinder/coater
- Good mechanical understanding and practical problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Confidence carrying out basic machine adjustments and fault finding
- A reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach
- The flexibility to work rotating early and late shifts
