Account Manager – Printed POS

Salary: Circa £40,000–£45,000 DOE

I’m working with an established print and creative solutions business, who are looking to add an experienced Account Manager to their team.
 
This is a great opportunity for someone who knows print, enjoys building strong client relationships and loves taking a project from the initial brief right through to delivery.
 
A background within the print industry is essential for this role.
 
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients and projects, acting as their main point of contact and making sure every job runs smoothly from start to finish.
 
The business has a broad in-house offering covering large format digital print, retail POS and displays, signage, exhibition and event graphics, wall coverings, lightboxes and installation, so there’s plenty of variety in the work.
 
No two days will be quite the same. One minute you could be discussing a retail POS campaign, the next managing signage, graphics or an exhibition requirement.
You'll be responsible for taking client briefs, understanding exactly what they need and working closely with internal teams across estimating, artwork, production, finishing and installation to make it happen.
 
This will include managing quotations and timelines, keeping clients updated throughout production, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the expected quality.
 
Just as importantly, you'll be expected to build strong relationships with your customers. You'll get to know their businesses, spot opportunities to offer additional solutions and help develop and grow the accounts you're responsible for.
 
What I'm Looking For
For this one, print industry experience is a must. You need to understand how print works and be comfortable having technical conversations with both customers and production teams.
 
I'm particularly interested in speaking with people who have Account Management, Client Services or Project Management experience within areas such as:

- Large Format / Wide Format Print
- Retail POS / POP
- Signage and Graphics
- Commercial or Digital Print
- Exhibitions and Events
- Print Management

 
You don't necessarily need experience across everything the business produces, but you'll need a solid understanding of print production and the ability to pick up new products and processes quickly.
 
Personality is important too. I'm looking for someone who is personable, organised, proactive and commercially minded, someone clients will trust, but who can also keep multiple jobs moving internally and isn't afraid to chase things when needed.
