Flexographic Repro / Prepress Manager
Derbyshire Permanent Full-time Monday to Friday
 
We’re working with an established business within the print and packaging industry who is looking to recruit an experienced Flexographic Repro / Prepress Manager for a key site in Derbyshire.
This is a technical, hands-on role suited to someone with a strong background in flexographic reprographics, prepress, packaging artwork or plate production, who is comfortable taking ownership of projects and working closely with both technical and operational teams.
 
Rather than being a traditional people-management role, the position is focused on coordinating repro and prepress activity, maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring work progresses smoothly through to print-ready output.
 
The Role
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating artwork, reprographics, and proofing requirements
- Reviewing technical briefs and preparing work for print
- Supporting flexographic prepress and plate production processes
- Managing multiple projects and priorities
- Liaising with internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving technical or production issues
- Supporting print trials and technical investigations
- Monitoring quality, deadlines, and service levels
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency
- Maintaining high standards of documentation and technical compliance

About You
We’re looking for someone with previous experience within flexographic print, reprographics, or packaging prepress.
You may currently be working as a Repro Manager, Prepress Manager, Senior Repro Operator, Reprographics Operator, Prepress Specialist or in a similar technical packaging role.
You’ll ideally have:

- A strong understanding of flexographic print and prepress
- Experience with packaging artwork, reprographics, and/or plate production
- Good technical and problem-solving ability
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently

This is a permanent, full-time, site-based position in Derbyshire, working Monday to Friday.
