Project Account Manager – POS, Large Format & Signage

I’m recruiting for an established POS, large format graphics and signage specialist who is looking to add a Project Account Manager to their team.
The business has established sales, account management, design, marketing and production teams all in-house. They’re a busy, fast-paced company producing predominantly bespoke work for some fantastic brands across retail, sport, FMCG and consumer markets.
They need someone who enjoys being close to the action, speaking to customers, working directly with production and taking ownership of projects from the initial enquiry right through to delivery and installation.
 
The role
Their Account Managers are very hands-on and manage the full process.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing incoming customer enquiries and briefs
- Quoting and estimating projects
- Sourcing materials and liaising with suppliers
- Advising customers on suitable solutions
- Managing artwork, specifications and deadlines
- Working closely with the in-house design and production teams
- Following jobs through production
- Project managing campaigns from brief through to completion
- Coordinating delivery and installation where required
- Keeping customers updated throughout
- Managing multiple projects and priorities at once

The work is varied and largely bespoke, covering POS, large format graphics, signage, retail graphics and shop-window dressing.
They work with some brilliant customers and have a strong pipeline of projects across high-end retail, sport and consumer brands, including signage and graphics for major sporting organisations and well-known retailers.

They’re looking for someone who is bubbly, personable, organised and good with customers. You’ll need some energy about you and be comfortable working at pace rather than waiting for someone else to move a project forward.
Ideally, you’ll already have experience within: POS Large Format Graphics Signage Print Retail Graphics
You’ll understand the relationship between client services and production and be confident taking responsibility for a job rather than simply passing it from one department to another.
This is an onsite position; this is not a remote role.
They specifically want someone based onsite in Poole, close to the production team. Their Account Managers are the link between the customer, design and production, so being able to walk into production, check a job, answer a question or resolve an issue quickly is an important part of the position.
