Description

Business Development Manager - Commercial Print Solutions
UK-Based (North Preferred)
£45,000 - £65,000 DOE Package

Taylor Higson are delighted to be partnering with a long-established and highly respected print manufacturer in the search for a Business Development Manager to support their continued growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a financially stable, privately owned business with an outstanding reputation for quality, service and customer retention. Unlike many sales environments, this is a business that takes a long-term view of growth. The Managing Director is genuinely down-to-earth, approachable and understands that building a successful sales pipeline takes time. You'll be given the support, resources and settling-in period needed to succeed, rather than being expected to deliver immediate results.

The business has an experienced and loyal workforce, with many employees having built long careers within the organisation. Recruitment is rare, making this an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team and play a key role in future-proofing the business for the years ahead.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a commercially driven sales professional to identify and secure new opportunities across the UK, selling a range of print and communication solutions directly to end-user organisations across any sector.

With a strong in-house manufacturing capability and additional outsourced solutions available, you'll have the flexibility to offer customers the most appropriate solution for their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and develop new business opportunities across the UK
- Build relationships with end-user organisations across a variety of sectors
- Identify opportunities for commercial print, direct mail, print management and related services
- Conduct client meetings, presentations and solution-based sales discussions
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through to onboarding
- Develop long-term strategic customer relationships
- Work closely with internal estimating, production and customer service teams
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasting
- Represent the business professionally within the marketplace

We're keen to speak with individuals who have proven sales experience within a commercial print environment

You will be:

- Commercially astute and target-driven
- A confident communicator and relationship builder
- Consultative in your sales approach
- Motivated by developing long-term customer partnerships
- Comfortable selling solutions rather than commodities
- Self-sufficient and capable of managing your own territory

If you're looking to join a business where relationships, quality and long-term growth are valued above short-term gains, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
