Flexographic Platemaker / Production Technician

Are you an experienced Flexographic Platemaker, or do you have a background in manufacturing and fancy learning a specialist new skill?
We're working with an established and highly respected business within the print and packaging industry who are looking to expand their production team at their Louth facility.
Ideally, we'd love to hear from candidates with experience in flexographic platemaking, however, previous platemaking experience isn't essential!
Our client is equally interested in individuals from transferable manufacturing and production backgrounds who have a great attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

The Role
Depending on your previous experience, you'll be involved in various aspects of specialist production and flexographic platemaking, including:

- Manufacturing and processing high-quality flexographic printing plates for the packaging industry.
- Operating specialist production machinery and equipment.
- Preparing materials and following technical specifications and production instructions.
- Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet exacting standards.
- Supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the production department.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, housekeeping and quality.
- Learning new production processes and developing specialist technical skills.

 
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates with experience in:

- Flexographic platemaking or photopolymer plate production.
- Print production, print finishing or packaging manufacturing.
- Machine operation or general manufacturing.
- Quality inspection or precision production environments.
- Other hands-on, process-driven manufacturing roles.

Above all, attitude is key. We're looking for people who are reliable, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and willing to get stuck in.

Working Hours & Benefits

- Monday to Friday, rotating weekly shifts:

- Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

- Paid 30-minute break.
